Whats the beauty standard of today?
having a dark skinned you will always be labeled as poor, dirty and will always be the bad guy in a movie, which doesn’t really make sense. is having a lighter skin better?

Whats its like to be dark skinned in a world that tells you light is beautiful?
i have always been teased for having a darker skin, like when they turned off the light  they would say, “Oh Louie, Nasan kana?” [Hey Louie, where did you go?] or  Smile so we can see you LOL

One of the main reasons why people see lighter-skinned individuals as more desirable is because those are the kinds of faces they see in media – advertisements, music videos and much more

If i have a lighter skin will i have a better life?
Looking back, I would have told my younger teenage self to snap out of it, because my skin tone and complexion should not determine my worth.

I am beautiful! I am [Medj] perfect just the way i am, my skin color is a gift its never been a blemish or a problem.
